Information about the history of the Jefferson Hotel (also called Jefferson Arms) is now up on the website!
The Jefferson Hotel is located at 415 North Tucker Boulevard in downtown St. Louis. This thirteen story structure was designed by Barnett, Haynes & Barnett, a local St. Louis architecture firm. the hotel was built to house visitors to the 1904 World's Fair and was named after Thomas Jefferson.
Today, the Jefferson Hotel is vacant. Ownership has changed several times over the last decade, and no construction or renovation has taken place since the hotel was cleared of its last residents and added to the National Register of Historic Places. Plans for re-development have been discussed, but no work has been scheduled.
